Parish has an entry; January 1759, Hugh Milne, merchant in Couterculland
had a son born of his wife Margt Sim on Sunday 31st ult, called William,
baptised on Tuesday the 2nd current, before witnesses George Henderson,
farmer in Couterculland and James Annand, sub-tenant there.
Also George born 7 Dec 1756 at Couterculand.
A further entry in the register
reads; Hugh Milne, farmer in Hillhead of Ardoe had a son born of his
wife Marg't Sim on Wednesday 25 Aug 1762 called David, baptized on
Sunday 29th current before the congregation.
By then, occupation and location had
changed.
