Genealogy of George Hutchison.
Family tree.
George was the second child and second son of George
Hutchison and Ann Sangster. He was born on 1st February 1870 at Hardslacks
of Cruden. He did not attend school.
He was an invalid throughout his life, unable to look after himself,
although mobile and well built.
His illness needs checking on his death certificate. The expression
"epileptic" has been used to describe him, but this does not seem accurate,
as one arm was apparently permanently disabled.
His presence at the heart of the family had a considerable influence on
their movements. The move from Hardslacks to Dorbshill was said at the time
to be in George's interest - though indeed this seems unlikely.
He died at Dorbshill on 2nd November 1920 and was interred at Logie Buchan
churchyard.TMH January 2004. |
